Veronica "Ronnie" Mansour (Book, Music, Lyrics)... Veronica is a 22-year-old recent graduate from the University of Notre Dame. Veronica is an accomplished cellist and pianist. She has been studying piano and cello since a very early age, training for many years at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music and The Colburn School.
In addition to her classical instrumental background, Veronica is also an accomplished singer, arranger (director, arranger, and founder of three a cappella groups) and writer. She served as the assistant director of the Chaminade Middle School "C-Notes," and accompanied them/performed with them three times at Carnegie Hall while in middle and high school.
Veronica has performed with artists such as Kristin Chenoweth, Todd Rundgren, Chloe Agnew, members of the cast of Hamilton as both a cellist and a vocalist, and performed for many more, including Philip Glass and Martin Chalifour. Veronica was the principal cellist of the University of Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra for the last two years and soloed with them last spring. She is the founder of her own charitable organization, The Young Artists Alliance, which has raised over $25,000 for various children's charities.
She served as the Director of the University of Notre Dame's Gold and Blue Company. Veronica also served as the Music Director and Vocal Coach for many shows including Guys and Dolls, The Imaginary Invalid (serving as composer and arranger on this project as well), and most recently, her own original musical, An Old Family Recipe.
She has participated in a variety of master classes, competitions, and international music festivals, including being a selected cellist in the 2016 Piatigorsky International Cello Festival, performing at Disney Hall. Veronica has also recently performed in several musicals, her favorite credits including ‘Thea’ in Spring Awakening and ‘Heather Chandler’ in Heathers: The Musical. She has been featured on the radio ("Sundays Live" on KUSC) and ABC's The Goldbergs. Come fall, Veronica will be pursuing an MFA in Graduate Musical Theatre Writing at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
